My background in historical tailoring began at the Nimitz Museum in Fredericksburg, TX, where I started participating in reenactments. As interest grew among friends, I began working on multiple German WWII tunics, which led me to study original construction methods and tailoring techniques used during the period.

In 2019, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserves. While attending A School, I provided uniform tailoring services for other sailors, particularly in preparation for formal events like the Seabee Ball. During the COVID-19 lockdowns—when base access was restricted and the Navy Exchange was closed—I became the primary resource for on-base sewing and alterations.

My interest in mechanical restoration began when my wife gave me a Royal KHM typewriter as a wedding gift. It had functional issues, so I began researching and repairing it myself. That initial project led to acquiring and restoring additional machines, expanding my knowledge of typewriter mechanics and model history. Today, I offer typewriter repair and restoration services, focusing on functionality and preserving original parts where possible.
